Sinner's Circle of cleaning is a visual representation of the 4 factors necessary to achieve proper cleaning -- time, temperature, chemical action, and mechanical action. It was created by Dr. Herbert Sinner in 1959, who was the head chemist in the detergent department of the Henkel Corporation in Germany.
